Best work jacket for alaska

Best overall work jacket for working in Alaska. Lightweight, breathable and tough. Great for anything you’d put it through.

Zipper broke almost immediately

I bought the Bering Sea jacket. I didn't wear it commercial fishing. Just light use around town (Sitka,AK) Zipper goes up & down but the pocket never closes. I used the pocket like 3 times, and now it's a hole for rain to get in. I taped it shut with gorilla tape and used it out power trolling last trip. It would be a great jacket if it wasn't for the faulty zipper. Disappointing...

"Everyone is entitled to their own opinions not here to change minds or start a keyboard just solely speaking on my behalf and the crew I work with" Fishing dungeness crab anywhere takes a toll on what ever that wire mesh grabs a hold of and just turnst jacket into shreds and tears holes into your rain gear. So far this season my Highlaner jacket has survived and kept me dry and cool and not feel like I'm wearing a trash bag and just drenched from my own sweat. No complaints here thank you again for keeping us dry and to all my fisher/men/women/ what ever you identify as.
